Absolutely a surprising delight in this quaint and beautiful town. The exterior of this restaurant absolutely hid the unexpected charm of this unique Guatemalan restaurant in such a tiny town. I have to eat gluten free so I was a touch concerned when I kept reading “flour tortillas” on the menu. But the chorizo burrito bowl was delicious! They make their margaritas in house, so the quality was far superior than almost any I’ve had.

Phenomenal food. I had never had fish tacos before and on a whim I tried them because they were highly recommended. They were out of this world delicious. My boyfriend’s fajita steak tacos were equally impressive and had out of this world flavor. The family staff was awesome and was great to see the chef come out to see how we enjoyed our food. We will definitely be back. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.

We had heard good things about this place and gave it a try. I can't believe how great the food was. The fish Tacos are by far the best I've ever had. The jalapeno Poppers are fresh and fantastic flavors. We also had the churos for dessert. Again they did not disappoint and the service was above and beyond. Friendly, courteous and helpful explaining different menu options. They definitely made a repeat customer with us. Portions are generous as well, we definitely didn't leave hungry

Quiet, quaint place located in a historical building overlooking the golf course. Staff, food, and service were marvelous. The chef came out to make sure we were enjoying our meals. The guacamole was so fresh and delicious

Wow! Amazing! Love it!! Had lunch, server was awesome. More over the price was perfect not expensive. Portions good! Wine excellent. I was new to Chilean wine, however it was full bodied and wonderful!! Pregnant wife have chicken pesto panni, I had fish haddock tacos with the right amount of spice! Jess was our waitress she was amazing!!! But wait there's more I had to add the fantastic desserts keylime pie and tresleaches cake and to finish with fragelico

I travel 60 miles each way to enjoy the fabulous, creative, homemade fare at El Mirador! The food is delicious; the staff is attentive and caring. I love the Roasted Cauliflower, my husband loves the Churrasco Steak. The Birria Tacos are the best I have had anywhere. The best! The guacamole is clearly handmade, creamy and delicious; the cocktails and desserts should not be missed. This is a destination restaurant - more than worthy of the drive. (After your meal, stroll through Bethlehem to enjoy the mountain views and charming shops.)

Amazing food and service! This place was amazing! We got two steaks and the churro desert which was fantastic! The chef came around and was super lovely. Honestly the best food I’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend this place.

We've eaten at this gem of a restaurant many times and every time the food is delicious but the best part is the atmosphere of feeling like I am being treated like a guest in a family owned restaurant; everyone is so nice, and after a busy week at work I want to sit back, eat delicious food in a comfortable and clean environment, I want to dine, I want friendly people supporting my dining experience and I really experience this at El Mirador. The porch is closed for the winter season, the inside is historical, beautiful, seating is comfortable, patrons are cheerful, it was a great night out! 2/22/2025: we've eaten here many times, I can't think of a meal that wasn't superb; last night we shared Birria appetizer, it was beyond fantastic and then my husband got his favorite Churrasco Steak, it was unbelievable how tasty it was and perfectly, I tried some new, I've never tried the Chili Relleno which was absolutely delicious with a side of their home made corn tortillas and guacamole .. the service is always wonderful, they are extremely nice people! Don't forget the best margaritas!! We went again and the food was absolutely delicious; the steak was so phenomenal! We got the homemade corn tortillas and guacamole which was out of this world! Margaritas were perfect. Flan was like nothing you've had before! This is authentic central American cooking from a family restaurant, nothing compares to the quality and taste and texture; so delicious we'll be returning with my parents. Very lovely atmosphere, this magnificent building was built in 1912 as the Bethlehem Country Club, Clubhouse; really beautiful and well kept. The food was delicious; we split the Mayan Relenno and we each got the steak. The steak was fantastic, cooked perfectly, very tender but the flavor was outstanding, there was a green chili rubb on it, not spicy but super delicious! The rice, guacamole, salsa was wonderful, the beans were not special. The margaritas were worth the trip, spectacular. We sat outside on a beautiful night in the porch, but we will certainly be back again and again in the winter as the inside is beautiful. Service was excellent, everyone was very kind and attentive. Really great night, I'm happy we went.
